Embark on a six-day escapade, blending the cultural richness of Cape Province with the wild wonders of Buffelsdrift Private Reserve. Day one unveils the iconic Table Mountain, Cape Point Reserve, and the charming Boulders Beach, where penguins frolic. A delectable lunch at Kalk Bay’s Harbour House adds a touch of seaside charm. Day two introduces the thrill of wine tasting in the Cape Winelands, coupled with an unforgettable encounter at Cheetah Outreach. As the tour progresses, day three offers a unique Indigenous Taste Experience with a fynbos-inspired lunch and an exclusive gin-making session, adding a spirited twist to the journey.

Days four and five immerse you in the untamed beauty of Buffelsdrift, Oudtshoorn, where wildlife safaris, meerkat encounters, and the mystical Cango Caves create memories to last a lifetime. Unwind with group lunches at Mantra Cafe Camps Bay on the final day, as we traverse the scenic Route 62, celebrating the diversity of Cape Province. The tour concludes with a queer flourish, leaving you with cherished memories of a journey that seamlessly intertwined cultural delights with the untamed allure of South Africa’s wildlife.


Day 1: Table Mountain / Cape Point Reserve / Boulders Beach Penguins / Kalk Bay Lunch Full Day:

     7am  Breakfast at Lodge 

           7:45  Table Mountain transfer 

           8:00 Cable car  up and down 45 minutes

           9:00  Transfer to Cape Point Reserve via Chapmans Peak    1 hour

           10:00 Cape Point excursion 1 hour 

           11:00 Transfer to Boulders Beach for penguin activity 30 minutes

           12:00 Lunch in Kalk Bay at Harbour House 1 hour

           13:00 Kalk Bay walk and souvenir shopping 1 hour

           14:00 transfer back to lodge

           19:00 Dinner at Gold restaur


Day 2: Cape Winelands Wine Tasting, Lunch and Cheetah Sanctuary Visit

10:00 pick up at lodge

            10:45 Cheetah sanctuary visit at Cheetah Outreach Somerset West

            Spend 20 to 30 minutes in an enclosure with one male cheetah, accompanied by

2 handlers, as well as 1 or 2 backhandlers.  Group members can have 

their individual pictures taken with the cheetah.  

            11:30 Stellenbosch wine route wine tasting and lunch

            14:00 Transfer back to Lodge

            19:00 Dinner at Kloof Street House

The Cape Town Fynbos Experience® is a masterclass in the unique culinary               botanicals of the Fynbos biome in the form of a guided tasting, light tapas-style lunch and  scenic walk on our Fynbos farm

Experience eleven of South Africa's gourmet flavours in a choreographed tasting of edible naturals, botanical tea infusions, traditional cordials, vinegar tinctures, culinary herbs, seasonings and aromatic digestifs. Learn how to pair Fynbos flavours with everyday meals and create cakes, bakes, cordials & cocktails with South Africa's sensational indigenous flavours.

             Light Lunch:

  1.           Tapas-style lunch created by you - experiment with Fynbos culinary herbs, salts, pepper and vinaigrettes with local cheese, pulses, tree nuts, farm olives, luxury chocolate and ciabatta.

Guided fynbos walk:

Up close with fascinating Fynbos on the slopes of the numinous Hawequas Mountains. The elevation of our veld is the meeting point of critically endangered Swartland Renosterveld and Cape Mountain Fynbos.
